Sweet and deliciously creamy, Strawberry Peanut Butter Smoothie is the perfect on-to-go breakfast for busy weekday mornings! It’s loaded with nutrients and fresh strawberry flavor. Refined sugar-free, all-natural, and very filling.

INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tbsp frozen The Butternut Co. Unsweetened Peanut Butter
- 1 cup (240 ml) almond milk
- 1 cup (150 g) frozen strawberries
- 1 small banana
- Pinch of ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 kiwi or mango, optional
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tsp coconut oil or butter
OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:
- Slivered almonds
- Gluten-free oats or granola
- Flaxseed
- Maple syrup
METHOD
1.Blend the frozen nut butter and 2 tbsp (30 ml) of almond milk until smooth. Be patient, it could take time but eventually, it’ll blend into a smooth thick paste which is the right consistency for smoothies.
2. Add the remaining almond milk, strawberries, banana, ginger, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, and kiwi or mango, if desired, and blend until smooth.
3.Add the nut butter and coconut oil and melt in the microwave for 30 seconds or less. Whisk it together and drizzle over the smoothie. Top the bowls with the slivered almonds, gluten-free oats, flaxseed, and maple syrup or as required.
