HIGH PROTEIN PANCAKES (Gluten free, No Added Sugar)

A weekend sweat session means only one thing – HIGH PROTEIN PANCAKES. You wouldn’t believe that they are are Gluten free and contain No Added Sugar!!

They are also made with simple ingredients that can be found around the house or made in a few minutes.

Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas
2 eggs
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk *see notes for homemade almond milk
2 tbsp The Butternut Co Creamy Peanut Butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 scoop protein
1 ½ cup rolled oats
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp salt

Method
1. Mix all the ingredients and blend until smooth.
2. Scoop onto a hot pan and cook until each side is brown
3. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup. Enjoy!

Notes:

  1. Soak Almonds overnight. Combine with water in a ratio of 1 part almonds to 3 parts water. Blend on high and strain. You have fresh Almond Milk!

Alternatively blend 2 tbsp The Butternut Co Blanched Almond Butter with 1 glass of water to get instant almond milk.
