We may have found the best use for Almond Butter yet.



1 large cup seedless dates

3/4 cup cocoa powder

200g The Butternut Co Unsweetened Almond Butter

1/3 cup almond milk

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla essence

1 tsp baking powder

A pinch of salt

100g chocolate chunks

To Sprinkle:

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Coarse sea salt


  1. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and blend until a smooth batter is formed
  2. Fold half of the dark chocolate chips into the batter and pour into a brownie tin. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips and coarse sea salt on top.
  3. Preheat the oven to 175C and bake for 12-15 minutes until almost cooked
  4. Let cool and cut into pieces. Enjoy!
