The multi-tasking salad dressing that doubles up as a dipping sauce, sandwich spread and gravy too. Did I mention that it’s finger licking delicious?

We tried it with a summer salad (duh!) baked chicken fingers, a multigrain hummus sandwich and even as a side gravy for roasted potatoes and charred broccoli. Surprisingly it worked well with everything! And the best thing? It’s made using simple ingredients that are found in the kitchen.

Chefs – get ready for people to not believe this is homemade.
Tip: Make ahead and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.


3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp granulated mustard
3 tbsp The Butternut Co Unsweetened Almond Butter, Creamy
1 tbsp The Butternut Co Creamy Cashew Butter
1-4 tbsp water
Salt & Pepper, to taste

1. Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender and mix until everything is well combined.
2. Add water as per desired consistency.
3. Drizzle over salad and serve fresh. Enjoy!
