This simple Avacado Tahini Dip is made with a handful of ingredients. It’s lusciously creamy and bursting with flavors. Use it as a dip with your nachos or spread them on chapatis, this one a truly versatile.
Ingredients
2 Avocados
¼ Cup The Butternut Co. Tahini
2 Tbsp Finely Chopped Fresh Cilantro
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
2 Pureed Garlic Cloves
4 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil + 1 Tbsp To Drizzle On Top
⅛ Teaspoon Chili Flakes
¼ Teaspoon Salt
Method
1. In a processor with an S-shaped-blade, add avocado, tahini, cilantro, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, chili flakes, and salt in sequence.
2. Process on medium speed until smooth and no lumps of avocado can be seen. Stop every 30 seconds, scraping the sides of the bowl with a spatula, and repeat until smooth.
3. Transfer the dip to a large bowl and then into the fridge for at least 1 hour for flavors to blend. Drizzle a tbsp of olive oil on top before serving. Enjoy with nachos, chapattis, or anything at all!
