Almond Butter Black Bean Chili is a sweet and spicy curry made with pantry-friendly ingredients. The almond butter gives it a creamy texture and makes for a more satisfying meal.



1 Diced Tomatoes

3 Cloves Garlic, Minced

2 Bay Leaves

½ Teaspoon Dried Oregano

½ Teaspoon Dried Thyme

½ Teaspoon Cayenne

1 Teaspoon Chili Powder

1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 Cup Of Black Beans Drained And Rinsed

⅓ Cup The Butternut Co. Unsweetened Almond Butter Creamy 

Salt & Black Pepper



1. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the diced tomatoes, garlic, bay leaves, and ½ cup water into and let cook Bring to a simmer before reducing the heat to medium-low.

2. Stir the cayenne, chili powder, garlic powder, oregano, and thyme and let simmer with the lid on for 15 minutes.

3. Add the black beans and cook covered them for another 5 minutes. Remove the bay leaves.

4. Add the almond butter until it is fully dissolved. Season with salt and black pepper. Enjoy!
